Final project

What are the most effective strategies for teaching reading comprehension?

The areas of cognition involved include metacognition and activating prior knowledge in semantic memory.

This is a good start. However it is too wide.
Were you in class Tuesday (in Library?). I told someone who had similar problem to define "wide reader".... was it you?
Please define more precisely what would you like to study. One single thing not a list of them. Then I can give you better feedback.
Particularly I am looking for the following:

-What do you plan to study,
-what is the applied part of your proposal (remember we DO NOT apply it, only describe in detail the METHODS);
- what are the cognitive processes involved in your research - that is what chapters will be studied for the literature review.
